What`s in it for you?

  • A competitive salary (based on your knowledge, skills, and experience)

  • 25 vacation days per year (based on a full-time contract), with the option to buy additional days

  • A central role in the development of a groundbreaking agricultural robot with major impact potential

  • The opportunity to help shape an innovative product from the ground up – currently in the development phase

Your key responsibilities

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and driving the development of cropr – our new autonomous robot for chemical-free weed control. cropr is in a crucial development stage: the technology is being designed, tested, refined, and prepared for real-world use. You’ll ensure that all teams – from internal engineers to external partners – collaborate effectively and that milestones are met without compromising quality.

You’ll work closely with technical teams, organize internal demos and field pilots, and serve as the go-to person for project progress. You’ll collaborate with the product owner and management to guide cropr from prototype to scalable, market-ready product.

You

  • Have at least 4 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in an R&D environment, preferably within a young organization where you've also helped build structure from scratch

  • Have at least a bachelor’s degree (HBO or higher) and know how to organize teams, timelines, and technical milestones without limiting the creativity of the development process

  • Feel at home in a multidisciplinary team of engineers, testers, and external partners, and can easily switch between technical content and planning

  • Communicate clearly, monitor progress, and know how to keep people aligned toward shared goals

  • Experience in mechanical engineering, robotics, high-tech hardware/software development, or deep tech is a plus

  • Experience working with external parties such as machine builders and potential customers is highly valued

Your responsibilities

  • Set up, track, and adjust project timelines and development milestones

  • Coordinate activities between software, hardware, and mechanical teams

  • Identify risks and bottlenecks and address them proactively

  • Organize testing moments, customer demos, and field validations

  • Ensure clear communication and documentation across teams and stakeholders

  • Contribute actively to the strategic positioning of cropr as a product
