Software Architect / Sr Software Engineer
In this role, you will work closely with our system engineers on smart, robust software solutions. You will think along about the structure of the software, ensure strong interfaces with hardware and other systems, and safeguard software quality as our organization continues to grow. You do not just understand how software works, you also see how it can become even better, smarter, and more scalable.
What do you get?
A salary between €6,000 and €8,000 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience, based on a full-time position of 38 hours per week, excluding 8% holiday allowance.
A bonus scheme based on company performance.
A commuting allowance for travel of more than 10 km one way.
25 vacation days per year, with the option to purchase additional days.
Your pension is arranged through PMT, in accordance with the Metalworking Industry CLA.

What do you bring?
5 to 10 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
Strong knowledge of Python.
Experience with CI/CD.
Experience with hardware integration.
Experience in a professional engineering environment.
You are available to work 30 to 38 hours per week.
Nice to have
Experience in an architecture or design-concept role.
Experience with embedded development and/or C.
Good to know
A formal degree in software engineering is not decisive for us. We mainly value what you have built, how you think, and whether you get energy from designing smart, reliable solutions.
What will you do?
Translate machine requirements together with the system engineer into a well thought-out software design.
Define the software architecture and the interfaces with other systems.
Develop and safeguard coding standards.
Set up CI/CD pipelines to automate releases and ensure software quality.
Develop testing approaches that ensure a reliable codebase.
Contribute to our policy on the use of AI, both in development and in our products.
Your focus
This role is all about machine software: the software running on and around our robots, including interfaces with other software, recognition models, and requirements engineering. This is explicitly not a cloud platform role, but a role in which your technical choices are directly reflected in the machines we build.
